INTRODUCTION:
The Liberty City Police Department is seeking out those with previous text-roleplay law enforcement experience in other communities who are willing to help kickstart our faction as a Police Officer upon the server's release. The LCPD gains its inspiration from the in-real-life New York City Police Department and wishes to provide a realistic, however, adaptable portrayal of that organization.
Interested candidates will undergo a written questionnaire related to basic information about themselves, their experience, the character they wish to portray, and situational incidents. Each member of the department's Command will review all applicants thoroughly. Only after a unanimous discussion and vote by departmental administration will they be presented with an offer of assignment. A candidate's experience and character story will determine if they must undergo the department's Field Training Program as a Probationary Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All interested candidates must meet each criterion before submitting a Letter of Interest.
- Candidates are required to have a registered account on the GTA Utopia forums.
- Candidates are required to have previous law enforcement text-roleplay experience before any submissions.
- Candidates are required to present clear and valid evidence of any related experience.
- Candidates are required to be able to fluently communicate in English.
- Candidates are preferred to have a clear working microphone.
- Those without microphones will need to partner up with others to effectively be able to communicate through Teamspeak 3 during high-priority situations.
LETTER OF INTEREST:
All interested candidates must submit their Letter of Interest to the
TB: Command Reviewal Board group via "Private messages" on the forums. Follow each directive to ensure a valid submission.
- Navigate to "Private messages" in the top right of the site.
- Add the "TB: Command Reviewal Board" group to the message.

- Title your composed message in the "Subject" using the format "(( UMOS Lateral Transfer - Firstname Lastname ))".

CLOSING REMARKS:
Overall, the Liberty City Police Department wishes to recruit those passionate about roleplay and willing to help expand the faction and grow as a whole over time. Play to win or an authoritative mentality to do what you please is not welcomed in the LCPD and we will not sympathize with those who represent that. With healthy and active Faction Executives, Community Staff, and Management; we hope to bring unique and exciting experiences to the FiveM community. Suppose you lack any of the qualifications for an OOC Lateral Transfer. In that case, you're open to having your characters take the Police Exam and undergo the in-character Police Academy (which won't all be extensively roleplayed as this is a video game). SECTION 3 — SITUATIONAL CONFLICTS:
- 3.1 Officer Torrez responds to a robbery at a local 24/7 Supermarket. Upon arrival, he noticed two individuals fleeing from the employee exit from the side door and entering a vehicle staged as a getaway vehicle. The suspects proceeded to flee in a four-door Sedan where they continuously collided with city property such as dumpsters and street lights with little roleplay afterward, despite visible severe damage. What is wrong with this situation? And what steps should Officer Torrez take further?
- 3.2 Detective Wilson gathered intelligence from a confidential informant that a group was dealing illegal narcotics from their apartment. Wilson and his partner have been monitoring the suspect from their unmarked and observed what seems to be consistent traffic going in and out of the apartment. Desperate to get a search warrant they position themselves at a distance just enough to see chat messages from their vehicle to utilize against the group to gain incriminating evidence for a warrant. Is there anything wrong with what Wilson and his partner have done, if so what? Would there have been something you would've done differently?
